More Springtime Fun

Here's a random assortment of pictures from my phone from the last month.
Trying out patio chairs at Lowe's. These passed the test.
Enjoying a beautiful day reading while the kids jumped on the tramp.
Uncle Steve! Steve is doing his Air Force Reserve duty in Dayton, OH now, which is only an hour from us, so he came to see us one night! It was fun to have a visitor!
 Big muscles.
 Reading on the beanbag chair.
 And the floor...
Snake skin in our yard. Exciting!
 Last day of kindergarten!
Starting our "summer vacation" off right with a science experiment.
Trip to the zoo with some new friends.
And LOTS of trips to the pool since it opened! (Everyday but Sunday).

Half-day Friday never felt so good....

It's a good life!

Memorial Day Fun with the Weavers!

The Weavers came to visit us!!! Hooray! They were our first house guests and we were so excited to have them! We had lots of fun eating, playing, swimming (our neighborhood pool is now open!!), playing baseball, playing games, and being together.

This is Amy under the little table. Haha. We played a hilarious game that had lots of silly requirements!
 Cute little girls.
 Just reading some Curious George.
 What a good cousin!
Birthday! Rob turned 39 on Sunday so we celebrated with Peanut Butter Cookies and lots of ice cream (he didn't want a cake).
These guys sure love their Dad!

Thanks for visiting us, you guys!

Pictures of the Fam

I find I don't use my nice camera as often as I should, so I've been trying to be better about pulling it out. I'm always happy when I do!

Field Trip to the Farm

I had the fun opportunity to chaperone Eli's first ever field trip. All the kindergartners went to Sunrock Farm in Kentucky (only 25 minutes away) and got to do a lot of fun things on the farm! I was impressed that Eli actually did the things they asked him to do, because he's usually so cautious. It was fun to meet his new classmates and get to know a few of the other moms.

Feeding a baby goat.

 Yep, he milked a goat!
 Brushing the miniature horse.
 Holding chicks on their heads!
 Eli's class!

 Petting the cow.
These boys kept fighting over who got to sit/stand next to Eli. I guess he's the "cool new kid".
 Winky smile! Love this boy!
