Jumping on the bandwagon

Well, I've been harassed enough about getting a blog, so I finally decided to do it. Don't expect greatness because this is still very new to me, but I'm trying to draw inspiration from my creative friends and family. I'll start by giving an update on us...

Well, we bought a house! We closed on our house on March 12th and we moved in on March 29th. It's a cute little 1-story house in Sandy and we are really loving it here. I will be sure to post some pictures soon. We spent the 2 weekends before we moved in painting the whole inside and it looks really good now!

Jeremy is working for a company called 3-form (www.3-form.com) in Salt Lake City and has been there since January. He is a Manufacturing Manager and he is loving the company almost as much as they are loving him. He's in charge of the "chroma" line and is getting new responsibilities all the time. He's also keeping busy with our new backyard and he just planted a garden yesterday! We're hoping to have tomatoes, green beans, green bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, onions, basil, rosemary, cilantro, and parsley. We hope it grows...

I am loving being home. I just got back yesterday from a 2 week tour with BYU Singers to Nevada and Southern California and now I am ready for the summer. I finished up my last semester at BYU right before I left and now I have to figure out how to live a life without being in school. It will be a strange adjustment, but one that I'm ready to make! I have a job teaching part time at the Utah Conservatory in Park City (utahconservatory.com) 1-2 days a week and I'm trying to build my private studio at home. In the meantime I'll be gardening, cleaning, cooking, and taking care of my handsome husband. :)

Well, I think that's enough for my first post. I'll be sure to get some pictures up soon and maybe write a little about my trip. Thanks for reading!
