"It's a miracle"
Those are the words I whispered to Jeremy as I crawled back into bed at 5:30am this morning after getting up to feed Eli...for the first time!!! That's right folks, he slept through the night!!! He slept from 9:15pm - 5:00am. That's almost 8 hours! The longest he'd gone before that was 5 hours and that was on his 5th or 6th day of life. Since then it's been 2, 3, an occasional 4 or a very rare 4 1/2, but this was amazing! Of course I woke up a few times, in shock, and of course I was quite engorged by 5:00am, but I don't care! I am in a state of very happy shock. :) I really hope this is the start of a new habit, and not just a fluke. I decided it doesn't get much better than going to pick up my happy smiling baby after he's been sleeping for 8 hours. Today is going to be a great day!

YAY! Maybe your full night's sleep is no longer a thing of the past! :)
Hip hip hooray! Nothing like a good night's sleep to make you feel human again, eh?
YAY! What a milestone! I'm so happy for you. And then soon enough, he'll be sleeping 12 hours and you'll be so happy to have you and Jeremy time in the evenings and plenty of sleep for yourself. I'm seriously so happy for you! Woo hoo!
