So I feel totally gypped this year. Fall is my favorite season and I'm pretty sure it lasted all of 4 days. It was still 90 degrees the beginning of this month. Maybe it will come back. I don't know. But what I do know is that it snowed about 6 inches last night! Craziness! We woke up with snow on Monday, but it was just a light dusting. Today - serious business.
October 27th, 7:30 am.
I can't believe this is happening already. It was still snowing the end of May this year. Remember this post? May 24 - snow.
But we are prepared! I got Eli some snow pants and boots at Kid-to-Kid and we just ripped up our garden on Friday and mowed the lawn for the final time this year. So bring on the snow! (not too much though please; I still prefer autumn) We're ready for it....I think.

Sheesh! Although, it seems like it always snows around Halloween around here, so it's about on time. But still shocking.
Oh my goodness! I couldn't believe that picture! Six inches? Whoa. Sorry about that. We have had a beautiful fall until last Saturday and it has been cold and rainy (but not snowy!) since then.
I had the same reaction this morning! I'm really glad we didn't have to shovel (thank you apartment complex). I love fall too. I hope this was just a sneak preview and not a lasting change in the weather!
Well that is just nuts! I can't believe it!!! Happy Halloween or Merry Christmas--I'm not quite sure which to wish you!
Speaking of Christmas, we'll likely be up north for a few days this December. What are your plans?
Wow, that's pretty crazy! It was almost 80 degrees here several days this week, and muggy and sticky. It felt like summer again. I wasn't too happy about that either, since I love Fall weather, too!
I was there and it was very pretty but shocking for this California grandma! Wow it was crazy but the weather did improve in the afternoon. Had such an awesome time with the cutest little 18 month old Eli. He is such a sweet little boy. I loved spending time with Sarah, Jeremy and Eli.
