2014 Year in Review

This has been quite a year! We tend to look at our years from June to June lately, so it's fun to look back at the actual calendar year and see what has happened. In doing so, I realized this is the first year since 2008 that I haven't gotten pregnant or had a baby! Regardless, it seems like this year brought plenty of big changes to our family. More details to come on some things later, but here's an overview of our fantastic year!

January

• Spent New Year's in California with the Astles and the Nowlands
• Came home and we all got the flu
• Anna started walking!
• Bought a van!

February

• Sarah & Anna went to Iowa for Heidi's Recital
• SNOWpocalypse in Oregon
• Sold Jeremy's car

March

• Anna turned ONE; Connor turned THREE
• Hiked in Tryon Creek State Park
• Sarah & kids went to the Oregon Coast with the Weavers (Jeremy out of town)

April

• Took a family vacation to Seattle!
• Eli turned FIVE
• Found out we were moving to Chicago!

May

• Jeremy & boys went on their first Father/Son camp-out
• Grandma & Grandpa visited
• Jeremy & Sarah went on first trip without kids EVER to find a house in Chicago!

June

• Went berry-picking three times
• Hiked Multnomah Falls
• Said good-bye to the Garden of Eden aka our beloved Oregon (sniffle, sniffle)
• Family Reunion in California
• Sarah, Jeremy & Anna flew to Chicago to move in!

July

• Grammy & Papa flew with the boys to our new house
• Jeremy started his new role in Chicago
• Connor broke his arm
• Eli started swim lessons
• We sold our house in Utah!!!

August

• Jeremy & Sarah ran a 5k
• Eli started KINDERGARTEN!!
• Eli started piano lessons
• Connor got his cast off
• Visits from Heidi & Sam and Steve & Yihua

September

• Went to Indiana to see the Weavers for Labor Day
• Anna goes to nursery!!
• Short visit from the Weavers

October

• Nauvoo!! With the Worshams!
• We dropped the kids in Indiana and went to Ohio for a few days

November

• Jeremy interviewed with L-3 in Ohio
• Visits from Uncle Sam, our friend Tom, and Grandma & Grandpa!
• Thanksgiving at the Weavers'!

December

• Jeremy got and accepted a job offer from L-3
• Jeremy quit his job at Eaton/gave his notice
• Visit from Grammy & Papa
• Jeremy used up his vacation and took a week off!
• CHRISTMAS!

It's been a great year! 2015 will be another exciting year with a new job, another move (hopefully our last for several years), buying a house, and much more. Stay tuned!
