Everything

Here's a brief overview of what's been going on lately. I may or may not go into more detail later. :)
  • We went to Idaho over Memorial Day weekend and my sister had her baby while we were there! I forgot to mention before that my other sister had a baby 7 weeks ago. So these babies are all 1 day shy of 5 weeks apart. Connor on March 22, then Garrett on April 25, and then Sidney on May 29. So fun!
(Amy & Rob and their FIVE kids!)
  • Our anniversary was on Saturday. 6 years baby! Jeremy's sister was sweet enough to come babysit for us (she's in town for a couple weeks) so we could go on a date! It was the first one we'd had in a long while and it was great.
  • We found renters and they signed a 2 year lease with us on Friday! Hip hip hooray! They seem to be the dream tenants, so I hope they really are. I was blown away with how much interest we had on the house. I put it up almost 2 weeks ago and in 6 days had over 50 calls, 15 people come look at it, and 7 applicants. The phone was ringing all the time!!! I finally stopped letting people come because we had narrowed it down enough with the applicants we had. It was crazy! I guess it's a great time to have a rental.
  • We also signed a 22-month lease on a place in Pittsburgh! We'll get there the end of July and the lease goes through May of 2013. I hope we like it, 'cause we're stuck! ;)
  • Last week was really hard. Eli turned into a grouchy monster and I was about ready to pull my hair out (not to mention I was turning into a very grouchy mommy). Today seems to be going much better, so I'm hoping it was just because he got sick and not because he is now a terrible two-year old. Our anniversary date was much needed because this mommy was about ready to lose it!! Sigh.
  • Connor is turning out to be the most delightful baby. He is so smiley! He is still not a very good sleeper at night, but during the day he is a dream. He's happy and cooing and smiling when he's awake and then he starts to get a little fussy when he's tired, and then he sleeps. He does go from completely fine to screaming his head off when he's hungry, but hey, so do I so it's all good. :) He's getting pudgier and pudgier everyday in his cheeks and thighs and I have a hard time not eating him all day long!
  • We are going up to Park City on Sunday to spend the week with Jeremy's family. We're so excited! A vacation will be a very welcome thing. It's been just over a year since we were all together, so it should be a blast! I hope the weather's nice because I want to soak up the sun and hit the pool.
Those are the highlights. I feel so much relief with the whole renting the house situation and now I feel like I can finally start packing! I was so busy keeping the house clean and answering phone calls that I didn't have a minute to spare for packing boxes, but now I do! We are loading the truck in just over 5 weeks (1 of which we'll be in Park City) so it's time to get moving...literally.

And here are some pictures for your enjoyment.
Look at those thighs! So chunky and cute. (I realized after this picture that my lens was dirty - thanks to a certain 2 year old who likes to hijack the camera).
Connor urging you all to go green. Onesie courtesy of 3form (company Jeremy works for) from their "Green Week".
Cute boys. I tried to get Connor to smile but he was distracted by the camera. At least Eli thought I was funny. :)
Yea. It's so nice when they're happy. :)

Wow I really can spell. I meant to say loved. Well I realized that I have been gone 32 of the last 90 days helping out with my three lovely daughters and their new babies. Life is good and I feel very blessed and very tired:) I feel so thankful for such great children and grandchildren and a loving husband who sacrifices so I can go around and have fun and help.

Congratulations Sarah on the move to PA and the new baby (and Amy and Wendy too.) These are very exciting times indeed. Kevin and I look back at our 5 years in Missouri for his PHD as some of our most favorite moments in our life so far. So enjoy every minute. Sorry your little one is not sleeping too well yet but that will change as well. Good luck with your move. Having just made a move 1400 miles across country it takes a bit to adjust. But Heavenly Father is kind that way. He sends new angels for friends and a new ward to love and in time you feel right at home. Love, Your cousin Dana.

Connor is so cute and chubby! Eli is adorable as always, I hope he goes back to his sweet little self for you. :) Sorry Connor isn't sleeping well. I better not mention what a great sleeper Garrett is! I'm crossing my fingers on that one. Anyway, I'm excited for you guys to come out here, and hope you'll visit any time you feel like it! :)

He is such a cute and chubby guy! And congrats on Pittsburgh and finding renters. We're about to sell our house here, and it's terrifying!
