Fourth of July!

Up until a July 1st or 2nd, we had zero plans for the fourth. I decided that was really lame, so we decided to throw a party! I was so glad we did. Only one couple we invited couldn't make it. There were quite a few people who didn't have any plans either! Jeremy got a 100 ft roll of plastic from work they were going to throw away and we set up a giant slip and slide! It was awesome. We also grilled chicken and made some other yummy things and everyone brought great food too. We had 12 kids and 10 adults. It was the first of hopefully many parties at our new house!

My attempt at a flag cake. The powdered sugar absorbed into the berries by the time we ate it, but it sure tasted good! I should have taken a picture of all the rest of the food.
Jeremy testing out the slip and slide before our guests arrived:

It only took our grass a week or two to recover, so we'll definitely be doing it again!
