Happy Birthday Anna!

Anna turned THREE years old yesterday! It seems crazy that she could be that old, yet at the same time a lot has happened in just three short years. She has lived in 4 states/houses and she is about to become a big sister! We were pretty low-key for her birthday but she was excited nonetheless. As anxious as I am to have this baby, I was glad to be home to celebrate her birthday rather than be in the hospital of something.
Anna was ready to open her presents first thing in the morning, but she patiently waited until everyone was home that evening. She got a new pair of flip-flops for the pool this summer, some groovy sunglasses, a new pair of PJs and a big Curious George book with 8 stories. She loves Curious George!

We sang a few times to her (she sang to herself all day long) and had some yummy cake! It was a fun day.

Anna is such a fun girl. She loves to dance and make people laugh. She still can't say k- or g- sounds, so her cute way of talking has become very endearing to us. She LOVES to "snuddle" (snuggle) and "tittle" (tickle) and she is generally very happy. She really pays attention to what others do and is an excellent imitator. The other day she sat on a barstool with my notebook and a pen and said, "Otay...what are we having for dinner when the baby comes..." I've been trying to stay on top of meal planning lately and she has definitely picked up on that! :) She also loves to help and I think she will be a great helper when her sister arrives! We can't imagine life without this little ball of sunshine and are so grateful for her! We love you Anna Renee!
