This year for Thanksgiving we went up to Indiana! We stayed with the Weavers and had a fantastic time. The McNivens and Steve & Yihua came and stayed with my parents, so we had almost everyone there! (We missed the Worshams!) It was a really fun and relaxing trip and we were very glad to be there. It was the first time staying and the Weavers' new house and it was great! The kids had a total blast of course and it was nice to be able to have two houses for everyone but still be super close. It was a great trip!
I did a lot of cooking/baking for my gluten-free/dairy-free people before we came. That worked out well, so I didn't have to worry about it once we were there.
Dairy free berry pie above, gluten-free & dairy free pecan pie below. I also made a GF chocolate cream and a GF/DF pumpkin.
All nestled in the van for the journey!
Poor Gracie was sooo tired but only slept a little bit on the drive. She sure is cute when she's sleeping! ;)
Anna and Shannon showing off their flexibility together!
I made some rolls at Amy's house and it was super fun! I don't bake with gluten every anymore!
Gracie on our walk from the Weavers' to Grandma and Grandpa's.
Family Football game the day after Thanksgiving.
