Visit from Grammy & Papa

We had a great visit from Grammy and Papa the end of October. They got here in time to join us for our Ward Trunk or Treat and then left right before Halloween.
I've realized I'm really bad at taking pictures when people come to visit...they leave and I find I only have one or two from the whole week! Shame on me.
On Friday, we had the boys leave school early and we went on a nice hike at the Nature Center. The fall colors were lovely and we had a nice time together. I did get several pictures of that day...

They were also able to catch the boys' last soccer game on Saturday which was fun. Unfortunately the temperatures dropped very quickly that weekend and it was a freezing wet game. It was the first playoff game and nobody was sad they lost! They were ready to be done and stay warm the rest of the day. It also gave us a chance to make some applesauce that afternoon!
These boys played so well! They both played goalie (Eli for two quarters!) and stopped a lot of shots even with freezing hands. It was a close game!

Jeremy was the assistant coach, but the head coach had to have surgery on her leg a few weeks before the season ended, so Jeremy took over. He did an excellent job and was such a great coach! It was fun to watch him do so well and to have the boys both be able to play together with him. It was a fun season!

It was a fun week!
