My handsome boy

Here are a few more pictures for your viewing pleasure. We are now home from the hospital. We came home yesterday morning and my mom got here yesterday afternoon. Yea! Eli is doing great. He's getting better at nursing (as am I) and he slept from 12:00-5:20 last night. Woohoo! We were all very excited. I'm planning on giving a full account of my exciting labor and delivery sometime, but for now I'll just put up some pictures.

With his daddy on his first day of life:
He's so cute!

They had a nice dinner for Jeremy and I on Tuesday night at the hospital. It was very tasty.

Getting ready to go home from the hospital:
Eli with Grandma:
He has really long arms. Our little ape-man. :)
Sleeping peacefully this morning:

He's so beautiful!!!

In my experience, nursing gets way easier after two weeks. Good luck!!

Yay! It's always so nice to be home again and get settled into things with a new baby, in your own surroundings. I am WAY impressed that your hospital made you a meal like that! And for JEREMY too! None of the hospitals I've been to EVER did THAT!

I'm with Liz on the nursing, it will get better with time. And kudos to you for working at it. It's definitely worth it.

He is so stinkin' cute!! I am way jealous of that fine dining you had at your hospital and for Jeremy too, lucky parents. Eli is so sweet and we are glad you are all home and adjusting well.

Hello from England! I finally have access to a computer, and one of the first things I did was check to see if you had given birth. Congratulations on a BIG beautiful baby boy! You are a trooper to have pushed out that already half grown little man! Best wishes with everything. And, yes, nursing does get easier after the first weeks (which are pretty miserable for a lot of people.)
