Eli was awake through the whole tour, but as you can see, he conked out as we were walking around the grounds. What a cutie. :)It was so nice to be in the temple. We got to the celestial room and we had to shuffle through really quickly since there were so many people there. As we were leaving I found myself wishing I could've had more time in there. Then as I realized I could go back whenever I want (in theory anyway, a little harder with a 3-month-old), I felt so grateful. I can return again and again to the temple. I can just go and feel at peace and enjoy the feeling and blessing of being in the temple. I also feel so blessed to be so close to so many temples. This temple is only 15 minutes from our house, and it's not even "our temple"! We are assigned to go to Jordan River, which is only 10 minutes or less from our house. I love that we can see the tops of both of these temples from our kitchen window. Such a blessing.
We've also been having a lot of fun with Eli lately. We're getting a lot more smiles and laughs from him and it's so fun! Here are a few pictures:

He is beyond cute.
Oh my goodness Sarah he is so cute! He has grown up so much since we saw you not too long ago. I love checking out your blog, you have a cute family! I hope to see you sometime before we leave for AZ in just a couple of weeks! See ya!
Eli is so handsome! I love his grin.
And another great temple open house. I actually just heard that Moroni was struck by lightening and his trumpet, arm and face were blackened. Our Moroni was also struck by lightening but not as bad. (Well not enough to fix or replace him yet)
Sarah and Jeremy what a sweet blog entry. I am so happy that you love the temple. You radiate a joy and happiness in your life. I am so thankful for such a great daughter and son-in-law. Eli is just precious. He continues to grow and that smile....Wow! We love and miss you and can't wait to see you next week-end.
What a cutie! We are going to go to the open house as part of the family reunion. I am excited for the kids to see it. Rob and I laugh that now that we live in Idaho, we are the furthest from a temple we have ever been! What a blessing it has been for us to have always lived so close to one.
Great pictures. We drove by the DC Temple the other day and the kids loved seeing it. It is closed for cleaning right now, but I can't wait to go soon. We have some built in babysitters that we need to use!
he's getting so big and SO cute! i love the big eyes and the fuzzy hair!
What an absolute angel! Eli is adorable.
Sarah - Eli is so adorable! Thanks for finding my blog and leaving a note. We're excited (and anxious and all those feelings that accompany the impending promise of parenthood). I've no doubt you and Jeremy are amazing parents. Hope you're well!
What a handsome little guy! I love the smiles. He's so cute. I'm glad you had such a nice tour through the temple. I already love that temple! It is so incredible to have the temples so close! :)
