We're Done!!!

The fence is done! With the exception of a few corner boards and the gate. But basically, we're done and it is amazing. We're all exhausted and I'm too tired to put up pictures right now, but I'll get there. Now we just have to get everything cleaned up and ready for Sunday! We're blessing Eli on Sunday and we're having a ton of family over after. We're crazy. But it'll be fun. It feels good to get so much done. It really feels like we have a usable backyard now and we're excited to continue to work on it. We could not have done it all without the help of Jeremy's dad and brother. Thank you, thank you George and Jon!

The fence looks great, as do the bumper pads and quilt! How fun! I really wish I lived close to family. Eli is so adorable, and so big! I just took Vanessa in for her 6 month check-up, and she was 15 lb. 15.5 ounces, which is only in the 50% range, but her height at 28 inches, is at the
100th percentile. Anyway, you guys are so great, have fun tomorrow! (Hmmm, number of extended family members present at any of our baby blessings . . . zero, but I'm happy for you!).

The fence looks so good! What a big accomplishment! You have inspired me to do some big projects at my own house... like the basement. I need to get down there and get organized but I just don't have the energy. But if you can build a fence with a newborn then certainly I can do it too!
