6 Mumfs

Our sweet little Anna is already half a year old!  She is such a delight and brings so many smiles to our family.  As the sweet old lady giving out samples in Costco said, "there's something special about the 3rd baby and what he/she brings to the family.  So many people stop at two, but three is really special."  I have seen that with the boys.  They love their little sister so much and she does such a good job at cheering everyone up and distracting them from their quarrels. :)

Anna is getting busy busy busy!  She is quite adept at rolling and scooting her way to any toy or scrap of paper she can find on the floor.  We're learning to be a little more careful about what we leave around or it will be in her mouth in a matter of seconds!  She also just recently started lifting her bum up a little when she's on her stomach.  Ah!  I'm afraid she'll be crawling before we know it.

Oooh, she's determined!

She still tops the charts in size and has the cutest chunky thighs you ever did see!  Her cheeks are round and extremely kissable and she is super long.  She fits comfortably in her 9-month clothes, and has several 12-month hand-me-downs she's wearing these days too.

Hello brown eyes!

 After some serious struggles after she stopped being swaddled, she seems to be napping much better these days.  Unfortunately her night sleep has gotten worse over the last couple weeks, so time to do something about that.  She is still a great little nurser and we both love the bonding time together.  As for solids, we haven't done much yet, but we'll start picking it up more.  She has gnawed on a few cucumber sticks and green beans, and seemed to think that was pretty interesting.  She has two cute (and sharp!) little teeth on the bottom and has another one coming in, which probably adds to the night waking.

Anna is very curious and loves to see what everyone's doing.  She'll smile at anyone and everyone and occasionally does this cute smile with a wrinkled nose that kills me.  She's also getting very vocal and loves to roll around and squeal and make herself heard.  We sure love our little girl!
