Our little Gracie is 7 months! She is such a doll and continues to woo everyone with her smiles. She is eating lots of solid food now and LOVES it. She likes to be like the rest of us, so she loves sitting in the highchair and joining us at meal times. She still nurses a lot...around the clock. We've been working on her sleep and everytime I think we've made some progress, she reverts. But such is life with a babe! I had a little mini photo shoot with her one morning on my bed. She is adorable!
- Sitting up. She sits up very well now and can even get herself into a sitting position from crawling. She first did this in her bed and I was so shocked when I came in and found her sitting up! We soon after lowered the crib...
- Crawling. She still just army crawls, but she's so fast at it now, I'm not sure she'll ever do the more conventional hands-and-knees crawl. We have to keep the bathroom and laundry room door closed now, because those are of course her favorite places. We've caught her with a hairball and the broom, along with the plunger in the bathroom. So. Gross.
- Sticking out her tongue and panting like a puppy. Haha, she does this when she gets excited and it's hilarious.
- Eating food under the table...like a puppy. We have to be careful what we leave on the floor now!
- Pulling herself up onto her knees, and as of yesterday, her feet! Ah! This is rare, but I'm afraid it will become more commonplace in the next few weeks. Of course the kids love it and totally encourage her. Trouble trouble.
- Saying "mama". True story. She says "mama or mamamam" a lot now and it melts my heart everytime. Of course she's not saying my name, just exploring her sounds, but it's so adorable in her little baby voice, I can hardly stand it!
- Giggling. Grace is pretty ticklish and I can get some good giggles out of her when I tickle her. She's most giggly when she's tired and/or when Connor plays with her. That boy has a special way with Grace and she loves him so much!
So there you go! Grace is such a delight and brings sunshine to everyone. We are sure lucky to have her in our family!

Oh my goodness those pictures on your bed are SOOOOO CUTE!!!! Wow. I just want to squeeze her and kiss her! :) I can't wait to see her again! Levi has starting panting lately too, it's pretty hilarious. Sorry about the plunger- that sounds very un-fun! Haha.
