So...tired...

Things have been CRAZY here lately!  A break is very near though, and I'm very excited.  Jeremy is just about done with his first "Mini" (quarter) and it has been his busiest one yet.  He has had over 25 job interviews in the last 4 weeks!  It has been madness and we're all exhausted.  The MBA program is interesting the way they recruit so early, but it will be nice to have it done!  He's been out of town a lot, and between that and his night classes he's usually only here a couple nights a week, if that. :(  (Not to mention my mom was out of the country for 2 weeks and I couldn't even call her! Glad you're back Mom!)  We've been trying to make the most of the time that Jeremy IS here though, and we've still managed to have some fun!

Last weekend, on Friday night, the "Partner's Club" (for spouses/partners of people in the MBA program) sponsored a Bowling and Pizza night.  It was so fun!  We went last year and had a blast so we knew we wanted to go again.  Eli was SO excited the whole time and had a great time bowling and playing with his friend Joey.  They gave each other hugs after they bowled each time. So supportive. :)

(Poor Connor wasn't feeling good and pretty much just sat on my lap with a dazed look on his face the whole time)

Last weekend was also General Conference, and it was wonderful!  It was so nice to have a full weekend at home together and it was much needed in between two very crazy weeks.  The boys were really good during the sessions on Saturday, but struggled a bit more on Sunday.  I don't blame them.  8 hours is a long time to watch anything! :)  I must say I think we got a lot more out of it than last year, so that's good.  We're making progress.  Of course, next time it comes around we'll have another little bundle of joy to add to the mix!

This week I hosted a baby shower for my friend Mary.  I was a little nervous since Jeremy was going to be out of town (didn't know that when I planned it), but I did a lot ahead of time and Jeremy helped me a ton before he left, and it was a success!  It was fun to visit with friends and see all the cute girly things!

That's the latest!  I've hardly had time to even process the fact that we're having a girl, but I'm hoping to think about that a little more next week.  Jeremy has a final today and one on Monday, and then he has almost 2 weeks off!!!!  It's going to be amazing.  And for one final picture, I put the boys to bed early one night when Jeremy was gone and walked out to take out some trash and saw this:
I didn't touch this up at ALL.  Isn't it incredible?!?  It made my life better. :)  Ahhh...

Yay! You blogged!! :) Wow, way to go on the baby shower, everything looks delicious! What meatball recipe did you end up using (if you made them, I didn't see them)?

Wow Sarah you look like you gave an incredible shower. The food looked amazing and that was so sweet of you to do that. I am so proud of you because you always have such a positive attitude! Reading your blog was a delight and I am so sorry that I was not there for you to talk to. I really missed talking with you and I am glad I am back even though the trip was amazing! Tell Jeremy that we are so proud of him and he is such a wonderful blessing in all of our lives. We love your family and the pictures with the boys were so cute. Poor little Connor...no fun to be sick. I LOVED the picture of the sunset. That made my life happier too. The Lord truly loves us by creating this beautiful world for us to live in.
