GIRL!!!
We're all very excited around here. We had our ultrasound this morning and not only is baby healthy and has all the proper limbs and fluid levels and everything, but that baby gave us a clear shot that showed she's a she! I have to admit I was expecting it. I would've been surprised if it had been a boy. The whole pregnancy has just felt different this time and Eli was so convinced it was a sister that he convinced me too!
Back story on that - some of you have heard this, but about a month before we got pregnant (and remember, it was not planned) Eli and Jeremy were sitting on the back porch in Alabama and Eli turns to Jeremy and out of the blue says, "I'm gonna have a sister". Jeremy, surprised, says, "Oh really? Why do you say that?" And he said, "Heavenly Father told me I'm gonna have a sister". We just passed it off as something cute. It was a Sunday and I'm sure he'd talked about Heavenly Father in primary. But then a few weeks later we found out we were pregnant and now we found out it's a girl! Maybe he's a prophet after all. :)
We're happy. A few months ago I just wanted another boy. I've got the boy thing down, I have all the boy clothes and toys and everything, but I've gradually come around to the idea of a girl and now I'm very excited! Of course I'm still totally nervous about what on earth to do with a girl, but seeing as I am one, I'm sure I'll figure it out. And she'll be a lucky girl to have two great older brothers to look out for her!

Oh Sarah I am so happy for you! This is SO EXCITING!!!! I can't believe how happy I am for you. You will love having a girl! Today has been so crazy and busy and I didn't have my phone with me. I just found out when I read your blog. I forget what day it is on this trip because we get up so early and are gone all day and come home happy but very exhausted! WOW this is so much fun! I am so happy for you, Jeremy, Eli and Connor. What a fun family you are creating. I know the Lord is so pleased with you. I love you!

Congratulations to you! You will love having a little girl, and you will find that you adjust very easily to the girlie side of things. My older boys said something similar when I was pregnant with my Sarah. They said that they knew that they were having a baby sister because they prayed and told Heavenly Father that they needed a baby sister. I was glad when they were not disappointed.
Tears again. Sure love that little Eli! Love, love, love you guys! You are the best!
Very, very, very fun! Congratulations again! When you told me that story about Eli, I figured he had it right. That is really neat. :) She will be a lucky girl with two great big brothers, and a great mom and dad.
Having a girl is so fantastic, I can't even express how much I'm loving it. There's something special and different about it all right. I adore my two boys, and we're buddies for sure, but I just feel like Gemma's going to be my best friend. :) I'm so excited for you!
